Some notes from our call on Monday are included below.

 Discussed research possibilities to move this work forward including:

  1. Establish data sourcing – conduct as a pilot project

  2. Determine what the gold standard is for this work

  3. Compare the gold standard to the ‘score card’

  4. Could we conduct a comparative analysis of similar dashboards? Say, work with several health systems like:

    1. University of Nebraska (Jim McClay)

    2. Medstar (TBD)

    3. Vanderbilt University (Trent Rosenbloom)

    4. Indiana University (JT Finnell)

    5. eHealth Exchange (Jay Nakashima)

  5. Need to get some more information from several ‘house supervisor’ or ‘informatics’ types who can detail how this is currently done

  6. Work with Todd Taylor who originally developed the ‘score card’

  7. Consider the previous work of Ed Barthell (NII-HIN)

 At a minimum, it would be nice to follow up on #6 and determine next steps for #5.
