Risk

Risk is a predictive measure for the diagnostic process.

Risk determinations may be done for a variety of reasons, such as determining:

1. likelihood for developing a disease

2. likelihood for disease progression (prognostication)

3. likelihood of complications from the disease or therapy

4. likelhood of failing to respond to a therapy
