Not getting much response from potential participants.

Susan -Vital signs IG release scheduled for 4/30; All value set work done in SOLR and updated in IG; should consider adding SMBP use cases to the IG? - What to do about extension content in IG for Connectathon? - Options: 1) IG temporary code system and option 2) using terminology service that is accessible to sender and receiver 3) value sets contain code and name and therefore maybe that’s good enough for Connectathon

EHR actor options for Connectathon:

  1. Logica Cerner sandbox instance? - Laura

  2. Holistic participation by EHR across tracks? - good idea but not likely by May

  3. Innovation center like Tech Spring (Baystate)? - Matt to reach out (Christian L.)

  4. Claude’s Epic instance is storing remote BPs already and they have expressed interest in participating in the Connectathon -

Device actor options:

  1. A&D? - Matt

  2. Omron?

  3. HealthSteps?

  4. Higi?

Cloud Data Aggregator (optional if EHR and Device can exchange directly):

  1. Validic?

Do we actually need to transmit data at connectathon?

Some examples where not connecting happens (Podiatry).

Can’t find any rules about having to Connectathon in order to ballot.

 

 

Given the challenge of finding participants for 1 use case (SMBP) we are not going to attempt PE use case in May 2020.

@Nathan Davis Will create IG SOLR code system in 4/30 build. First step is to send CodeSystem URL to Monique/Corey so that they can reference it from the value set. Nathan will send by 4/13

Decisions

  1. Given the challenge of finding participants for 1 use case (SMBP) we are not going to attempt PE use case in May 2020.
  2. AMA team will be leading the SMBP Connectathon activities with support from Intermountain team.
  3. We will create a Vital Signs SOLR IG code system that will contain the extension content referenced by the IG. This code system will ultimately go away once the codes are submitted and incorporated into their respective code systems (i.e. SNOMED, LOINC, etc.).
