Logica Appointments App

Introduction

The Logica Appointments app is a SMART on FHIR application that shows appointments within the EHR.  

Launch Contexts

The Logica Appointments app can be run in different contexts:

• Patient Context: A patient can log into the Logica Appointments app to see their appointments with any practitioner.
• Practitioner Context: A practitioner (doctor, nurse) can log into the Logica Appointments app to see their appointments with any patient.
• Practitioner-Patient Context:  A practitioner can log into the Logica Appointments app with a patient in context and see only appointments between themselves and the patient.

Datasource

The Logica Appointments app can change the system it is connected to by selecting the datasource. However, this is not the proper approach in a production setting where the SMART on FHIR launch request provides the URL of the datasource. This is for demo purposes only.
