The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), a division of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), tracks provisional coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mortality data, including the age of death. This information can be used for research purposes, such as understanding risk of mortality from the disease and potentially treatments as well. (Reference: Please see Table 2 https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm)
