BPMN Annotation for Emergency Department Workflow Questions

FHIR Observation Resource (ANF Profile)

• This is the FHIR resource we will be working with to help represent ANF clinical statements - specifically the performance

  • Performance has already occurred

  • Request is something that you want to have done

• Code

  • Contain the logical expression but will need to figure out the impact of FHIR Terminology Resources

• Effective time

  • Can utilize effective period

• Value

  • Need to be symmetric and have an approachable way of dealing with Period (object)

• MDMI (Model Driven Message Interoperability) can be useful in the future to have translations to Observation resources

• BodySite (element)

  • This would be null since we don’t want to pull out this value/code within the ANF profile
