OMG Ordering Service RFP WG
This Working Group consists of Logica participants interested in responding to the OMG Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Healthcare Ordering Service. The RFP calls for candidate implementation specifications and is the next step in evolving HL7 Service Functional Models into normative standards and was published in December 2015 on the OMG website. The entire RFP is included on this wiki at Ordering Service RFP. The principle goal of this working group is to successfully respond to the RFP, establish a new OMG Ordering Service Specification, and release the reference implementation as an Apache 2.0 licensed OSS project.
The Response Team maintains a Bitbucket repository where all UML artifacts, reference implementation code and unit tests are maintained (https://bitbucket.org/account/user/cogmedsys/projects/ORR) and a Logica Slack channel (#omg-rfp @ https://hspconsortium.slack.com). Contact a team member for invitations to the slack or access to the Bitbucket project.
