Purpose

Provide a global set of values (drawn from findings and qualifier value hierarchies) that can be used for recording and retrieving skin color in the course of examining a patientThe purpose of this refset is to monitor concepts as updates to the SNOMED terminology are made. This refset will eventually merge with the Skin Color Enumeration refset.
