Review open items from 4/9 and 4/16

Notes

  •  Review open items from 4/9 and 4/16

    Participants - who are they?

EHR- 1. No connection to Cerner in Logica sandbox

Consider evaluating how Logica EHR emmulator might be able to support Connectathon - can enter data “manually” into the sandboxl IHMI team knows how to load data. No action required at this time. Claude’s Epic instance is plan A for now.

Claude has Epic and seems excited to lend us his Epic. They have some stuff already in place

    Simple scenario:

    1. SMBP use case

      1. Cloud based repo that stores FHIR objects

    •  Corey to investigate how existing IHMI SMBP device data repo could play role of device data aggregator Corey Smithb. b.Epic can read from repo

Epic can then display remotes BPs alongside ambulatory BPs

Write back to repo from Epic??

Other use case that can leverage PENRAD (company that does breast radiology) - need to define this use case

    •  Invite Claude and Richard to the Thursday Connectathon call Nathan Davis for 4/30

Data Aggregator - we will stop looking for a vendor to play this role for the May 2020 connectathon., We will consider a vendor participant in the future.

Connectathon Lead Meeting Update ((Laura) - reviewed this deck

    •  Create Zulip Connectathon stream (top level) Nathan Davis - stream is called “Vital Signs”
    •  Discuss C-THON testing / test scripts on 4/30 - All
    •  Find track orientation template Corey Smith

    2. Review SMBP use case for connectathon - Corey

    3. Vital Signs IG Publication Status

      1. Connectathon version published

      2. Needs some additional QA

    4. Discussion/planning/next steps

      1. Claude/Richard

    Notes

    •  Review open items from 4/9 and 4/16
    •  Corey Smith Corey to follow up with Monique on IG build value sets
    •  Clarify the following areas: (1) payloads so that they can be integrated - should be done before connectathon (2) initial logic - keep it simple
    •  Define scenarios - (1) SMBP - controlled with/without meds, uncontrolled - with/without meds Corey Smith (2) Automated Office BP Average - not in IG but could be ready for 5/13 Nathan Davis , (3) 24 Hour BP - not in not able to get completed by 5/13
    •  Claude Nanjo Is going to investigate some other participants (Phil Warner Epic/Epic-FHIR translations, Doug Martin (creater of Fusion EHR/SMART on FHIR), Claude will be working on overall application and logic
    •  Corey Smith Create
    • Susan Castillo is responsible for generating SOLOR extensions and wants to understand the impact.

    5/7/2020

Confirmed FHIR version is R4 (4.0.1) for Connectathon

HAPI FHIR server version doesn’t matter as long as it can support our R4 profiles and instances.

    Scenarios:

    1. Jim Shalaby - Needs to select the one scenario from IHMI SMBP test cases

    2. Eric Mays - needs to transform IHMI test data to Vital Signs IG profiles and then connect that data to the existing patients

    •  Claude Nanjo Set up the EHR, SMART-on-FHIR app, FHIR repository, terminology service, and ideally any other data integration component required (highest risk) - do inside University network (Eric will send JSON to be loaded)
    •  Monique van Berkum send 3 codes for environment (home, clinic,
    •

    Notes:

    1. Nathan Davis Create average bp profile for SMBP scenario

      1. Codes for Observation..code ,(average BP) component average SBP & DBP

      2. Location of average - choose 3 for home, clinic, hospital (use Environment codes from SCT)

      3. Algorithm type for average

        1. Formal extension that takes into account # of data points and time window

          1. Use text element of codeable concept for algorithm type
