High Reliability Organization

  • Tie in how standardization of processes, data models, and data element definitions promotes reproducible clinical care outcomes

  • The benefits of BPM+ also enable these clinical car outcomes to be analyzed overtime, and as requirements change, allowing clinicians to directly change process flows, data elements, and terminology concepts to provide better patient care (Improvement at organizational level)

  • Standardizing processes, data elements, terminology, and data models allows for a consistent approach to evaluating quality of care across the entire organization and or EHR platform(s)

  • Both the ability to improve clinical care at the organizational level, as well as, assess the overall quality of that care through standardized evaluation processes (at the organization level) creates a organizational culture emphasizing safety and patient/customer satisfaction
