Procurements coming out of Fed space at growing rate, DHA and VHA; still the leading tip, earliest of indicators; buyers are buying; the market is emerging

Rules of first generation automation to be set this year

Quick revisit on 2021 goals we determined last time;

anything out of this year?

• funded project for BPM+ health; example: grant; RO1; need to do some planning around that

• get a paper out; get academic narrative out there; drive awareness in marketplace

• membership goals - few more to do crossover with input before end of year; clinical and health info world; also quality world; knows how to use and and how to get there, someone who can speak to both;

• Relationship with FDA, what needed for compliance

• publish at least one guideline, peer reviewed academic paper (ACEP supportive);

• key outcomes and critical discussion

• funding for more development of protocols and workflows; ACEP supportive of work with ACOG; finish the two protocols previously started; more collaborative pathways

• at least one pilot in 2021

• address policy, get on radar at policy level

• get BPM+ written into the next CMS ONC final role for interoperability

community self organize in confluence, model good behavior, urge others to submit

maybe complementary piece through ACEP

process automation and machine learning piece (AIML)

goal is to get ONC to agree with approach; process automation with standards INSTEAD of proprietary tools
