HSPC is pleased to announce that it will be holding its 7th meeting in New Orleans on February 4 - 6, 2015.  Louisiana State University is generously providing facilities for the conference. We hope you will be able to join us.   

The agenda will include:

  •  Update on HSPC organization, membership, and plans
  •  HSPC committees, processes, and procedures
  •  VA/LSU Coordination of Care Pilot Project in New Orleans
  •  HIMSS 2015 planning
  •  FHIR profile modeling, terminology binding, and value sets
  •  HSPC Tier 1 Sandbox Hands-on Training Session
  •  Set roadmap for HSPC Technical Specification
  •  Connectathon for HSPC Application and Platform Developers 

Wednesday's sessions will be topic specific

Technology Track

Send your application and platform developers to the Wednesday morning session to learn how to write HSPC enabled applications. In the afternoon, we will be holding a Connectathon where the HSPC sandbox engineers will be available to help jump start integrating your clinical applications with the HSPC platform. Additionally, there will be an afternoon break-out session for individuals interested in discussing advanced SOA based platform features and technical details about the VA/LSU collaboration.

Modeling & Terminology Track

Join us in the Modeling and Terminology session starting at 1pm on Wednesday to discuss pressing issues facing the existing modeling efforts and to review the HSPC FHIR profile roadmap and modeling development lifecycle.

  • Specific modeling approach for standard laboratory data
