Agenda
Goals
List goals for this meeting (e.g., Set design priorities for FY20):
- Review simplification of SDMN
- Should we add Folders to SDMN notation
- Review examples for ownership relationships
Notes (raw)
We reviewed the examples we will use for the ownership discussion
We discussed whether we should use a folder icon for Data Items that have an itemKind of Folder.
Note that CMMN uses that itemKind but does not use a different Case File Item icon.
The group thought that we should, but should consider that the Case Plan Model is a folder or file shape also.
We reviewed the changes to the SDMN metamodel that simplified the overall structure. The Situational Data Model intermediate class was removed and the classes it contained were redirected to the SituationalDataPackage.
We also discussed the scope of the metamodel diagrams in the specification. The diagrams are designed to illustrate the metamodel elements of a specification context (e.g., Data Items).
The metamodels will often hide some elements or associations that are not relevant to the context would add clutter to the diagram. Further, there is no specific diagram that displays all the SDMN elements and associations. Such a diagram would be too hard to read.
