Classification / Categorization and Cohort definition

Using specific indicators to assign an individual (e.g. a Patient) to a group of entities (e.g. a Cohort) that share similar characteristics.

Once the sufficient conditions are identified, the necessary characteristics of the class members may be further used to make inferences/predictions/assessments about the individuals, and/or to drive further action
