Weight precondition values are used when the patient has something attached to their body, such as a cast, prosthesis, or oxygen that may change the patients weight prior to the weight measurement.

Weight precondition value set specifies clinical conditions and other circumstances are present prior to the weight measurement. Examples include wearing a prosthesis or cast in place.

Cast, oxygen device, prosthesis

Weightless items or items not attached to the patient's body. Also, implants such as cardiovascular implants, stents and catheters (Hickman, etc)?
