Questions related to VA Extension

Can you please clarify the course of action for us to take regarding the VA pressure ulcer content submissions to SNOMED?

For the content created by Monique that was already submitted, we have several concepts that were awaiting VA clarification.

Do we need to have Sarita retract these requests?

Do we need to do anything else regarding this content (for example, for concepts that were already accepted by SNOMED)?

Then, we will wait to submit future pressure ulcer content until we have a complete package integrated into a model, correct?

 1. VA pressure ulcer content submission to SNOMED - Jim Case requested VA submit as a whole with documentation instead of submitted individual concepts. 

2. For concepts already submitted – pull them back or ignore them. When we're ready to submit with our intended model then we can provide clarification.

3. The concepts that already have been approved for US Extension should stay in our VA Extension.

What is a realistic release date?

Where will the release be posted?

Release changed to November 14th.

Release will be posted on HSPC website Susan Castillo send an email to Laura/Craig about snomed license. This is not re-distributing snomed internation release or US extension so the burden is different. Susan Castillo to check out LOINC collaborative agreement page/techinical preview.
