Review Agenda and Meeting Schedule

Priority Item –HIMSS Meeting

Rick – Will have all applications planned for the HSPC and SMART sandboxes completed this week.  Epic has several completed and should have more this week.  Cerner should have all of their apps completed.  HP does not have the resources to complete their apps.  SMS has made significant progress in exposing VistA to apps.  The VA should have three apps. Work is underway to develop write ups on each apps, contact information on each of the app presenters.  Craig, Eileen, Laura, Stan, and Oscar are developing a marketing document.

Rick – Have not heard back on the Federal Health IT pavilion.

Oscar – Talked to Reggie.  HSPC has a booth.  Oscar will staff the booth much of the time.  Oscar will be in Salt Lake on Friday and will be able to meet for final planning. Reggie Humphries is the contact for coordination of this booth.

Rick – Will train people on each of the apps.

Craig – Each booth will be run differently.  Some booths will only demonstrate a subset of the apps.  Will be reaching out to the app owners to determine how they would like to have their apps demonstrated.

Craig – The Intermountain Booth and the HSPC Booth will be able to demo any of the applications.  Developers can schedule time in the booth.  Assuming that multiple people will be able to demo the apps.  The HSPC booth will be staffed full time.  The staff in that booth will be able to demo the apps.  The app developers can also come by the booth if they want to demo.

Eileen – Harris has three products in their booth.  HSPC could demo in the "Fusion OS" area.  Will need to provide Eileen with the times that HSPC would like to demo.

Oscar – Would like to schedule demos before and after Stan's presentation.

Oscar – Will have a way to capture information at the booths to be able to follow-up after HIMSS.

Herb – Last year the demos were small groups, so it was possible to get business cards.

Craig – We should have a way to collect contact information.

Oscar – Have put together a business card for HSPC and will provide these to people who will be doing demos.

Oscar – Are there specific sessions that we want to highlight?

Eileen – It may be too late to get in the HIMSS news.  Recommend putting together a card with all the demo times and locations and have these available to give to people.

Craig – There is a draft of the one pager that is out for comments.

Oscar – We will need to coordinate with the VA on branding.

Bob – We should have HSPC buttons

Rick – have created a square version of the logo that could be used on a button.
