Priority Item – Tier 2 Messaging | Bob Greenes – There has been a lot of interest for care pathway services. They are developing a knowledge platform for integrating apps and app components. Thinks this can be used for outpatient pathways. Using these use cases as examples, would like to use this platform as a reference architecture and reference implementation. There was a meeting in Phoenix that included Jonathan Nebeker and Marc Overhage. During the meeting there was a discussion of how to create an open platform organization. HSPC has a skeleton organizational structure to support an open platform. Stan – Would like to have this as part of HSPC. Would require that a governance structure be put in place for the technical approach.

Priority Item – Value Proposition | Ajay – Has connected with Evon Holiday. She wants to engage when it is clear what solution HSPC is offering. She is concerned that past efforts to achieve interoperability have not gotten organizations to comply. Will review the draft value proposition with Evon after the HSPC this week.
